Removing the Yahoo!(R) Toolbar Support from a Project

The Yahoo! Toolbar functionality is available in the following project types:

Task

To remove the Yahoo! Toolbar support from your project:

In the View List under Installation Information, click Value-Added Services.

In the Value-Added Services explorer, click Yahoo!® Toolbar.

In the Acresso Value-Added Services Program area, select the No, I decline option.

InstallShield displays a message box that asks you if you would like to remove the Yahoo! Toolbar dialog and properties.

Project

If you remove the Yahoo! Toolbar support from an InstallScript or InstallScript MSI project, InstallShield removes the ISRTVASYahoo.obl script library from the list of script libraries that are to be linked at compile time.

Note that if you remove the Yahoo! Toolbar support from an InstallScript or InstallScript MSI project, InstallShield does not remove the custom string table entries that were added for the Yahoo! run-time dialogs, nor does it remove the BitmapId_1000x.bmp file from the project’s string table. The entry for the bitmap file is not removed from the Binary table, and the actual bitmap file is not deleted.
