Namespace Tab for an XML File

The Namespace tab contains a table with the following settings for an XML file in the XML File Changes view.

XML Namespace Settings
Option	Description
Prefix	Specify the prefix that should be added to elements that are associated with this namespace.
URI	Specify the uniform resource identifier that identifies the Internet resource for the namespace. The URI can be a URL or a string of characters. The MSXML parser does not use the URI to look up information about the namespace. The only purpose of the URI is to give the namespace a unique name within the XML file.
