InstallShield 2009
To install language-dependent components, you must have the Premier edition of InstallShield. In addition, you must include the language in your installation and build it into your release. If you do not, the language-dependent components will be included in the release but will not be installed on the target system when an end user runs your installation. In InstallScript installations, you can modify this default behavior by modifying the default code for the OnFilterComponents event handler function.
Task
To include support for installing language-dependent components:
Note
Components are installed based on the end users selection of the installation language in the Language dialog (enabled in the Setup Languages panel of the Release Wizard), rather than on the locale of the system on which the installation is run.
