The Product Condition Builder simplifies the process of creating install conditions by providing a selection of valid Windows Installer properties and conditional expression operators.
Double-click in the Condition column to create a new condition. Use the Properties and Operators drop-down lists at the bottom of the dialog to assist you in building a conditional statement.
In the Message column, enter the text you want to display to the end user if one of your conditions fails, forcing the installation to exit. Type a new messagewhich is automatically added to the string tableor select an existing string by clicking the ellipses button to the right.
Tip
This control lists all of the properties stored in the Property Manager. Select the property you want to evaluate and click Add. The property appears in the Condition(s) window.
This control lists all of the valid operators recognized by the Windows Installer service. Select the operator you want to use and click Add. The operator is appended to the conditional statement in the Condition(s) window.
